The Biloxi Area

Welcome to our friendly hotel where above and beyond service, comfort, and spotless rooms make your stay wonderful in every way. The location just off I-10 is easy to find. Walk to restaurants and get to the beach in minutes. Local retail shopping, fairgrounds events, Kessler AFB, and the University at South Mississippi are nearby, too. Rooms and suites come with conveniences for a great leisure or business visit. Such conveniences include microwave, mini-fridge, work desk, free Wi-Fi and more. The free Bright Side Breakfast® offers starters for lazy beach days or full days of driving. For dinner, be sure to sample the area’s famous seafood, from crabmeat to shrimp to gumbo. Take advantage of an outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, laundry facilities and our pet-friendly policy.

This quintessential Gulf Coast city occupies a peninsula east of Gulfport and is marked by one of its most famous symbols, the lighthouse, which anchors the end of Main Street. A visible waterfront location contributes to its reputation as a shrimping and seafood capital and epicenter of southern home cooking. The seaside resort town lends itself to great fishing, attracting many cultures over the centuries including French, Spanish, Croatian, Vietnamese, and Creole – all of which have influenced local cuisine. Beautiful beaches solidify this area as a prime vacation destination. More recently, the gaming industry has added another dimension to the area’s economy and attractions. Kessler AFB has had a presence here since before WWII, and the area is home to several hospitals, including Memorial Hospital Gulfport and the Regional Medical Center.

Local Attractions

Beaches offer white sand and gentle waves, and the barrier islands are situated about 12 miles offshore including West Ship Island, home to one of the top beaches in the country. Reach it by Ship Island Excursions ferry service from Gulfport and watch for dolphins during the beautiful one-hour cruise. Lots of charters run during the day to take anglers out to hook fish ranging from red snapper to speckled trout. Island adventurers can also explore the beaches of Fort Massachusetts, which was built after the War of 1812. Before or after the sun sets, guests can explore any of the nine casino resorts in this city, including Boomtown, Beau Rivage, and Jimmy Buffett’s casino. Sports enthusiasts can tee off on 18 holes at the wooded Dogwood Hills Golf Course, just a short drive north of the hotel.
